717 Weightlifting
was founded under the belief that the sport of Olympic Weightlifting can be
enjoyed by people of all ages and stages of life. Our vision is to develop
individuals who desire to compete in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting or simply
improve their overall athletic ability.
Our coaches will provide athletes with a progressive training regimen
that will prepare them for competition on the Weightlifting platform or
CrossFit arena.
Snatch-Clean-Jerk
These lifts
are different than other gym lifts in that they require a unique combination of
strength, flexibility, power, and coordination not found too many other places
in sport. In fact, they’re so unique that most gyms won’t even let you attempt
them because they require specialized bars and weight plates, a specialized
lifting platform and a high level of teaching competency to coach. Get fit and
strong while you learn these highly technical lifts under the watchful eye of
one of our expert coaches.
The War Room
717
Weightlifting is equipped with everything needed to develop high caliber
athletes. We have 5 platforms, thousands
of pounds in weight, competition level barbells, Jerk Boxes, squat racks, slow
motion video analysis, and anything else you need to build the athlete within.
We are a
drug-free facility that focuses on the quality development of well-rounded
athletes.
*All members
with a 717 CrossFit membership can attend Olympic Weightlifting classes at no
additional fee as long as they have instructor approval. Subject to change without notice.
