  1. The wave of wallballs is pretty cool.

whats my motivation today? I get pretty stoked watching you all. Like yesterday, Hobbit Scott rowed a F'n 2000 meter row in 7:01!!! thats sick! People usually have to stick to a specific training schedule to break a 7 minute 2000m row. And whats scott been doing? F'n crossfit baby...

I've been hearing from a couple athletes that they feel like they should already be off the Pull up bands, or Clean and Jerking 200 lbs...

This is very possible, but remember, while your growing stronger, your ALSO getting faster, more agile, coordinated...

If you want to focus on certain movements, then get in there early, and practice. After the WOD, practice. But, as you can see, people get very fast, very strong, and very athletic, just by crossfit... Patience

  4. Do or do not. There is no try.

    Cleans:
    135 x 5
    155 x 5
    165 x 3
    175 x 3
    180 x 2
    180 x 2
    155 x 1
    160 x 1

    WOD: 10:40 Rings/B

Unlearning how to do the cleans with the improper form I've been using for two years is a little frustrating. But, I figure since it took me two years to "perfect" the wrong form, it'll take less time to tweak it to perfection (I hope). Last two sets were done light because I wasn't opening my hips and finishing with the shrug before dropping. Form first...

The WOD was good. I'm not sure what the "DYB," "YB," "B" designations in the scale mean, but Dan wrote "B" next to mine. I used a single ring as support, and was a little disappointed that I couldn't do the pistols unassisted. As for the ring dips, these are new for me, and I need some practice.
